Do you read poker theory? A couple of Negreanu's books are very good.
Yeah, I've read a decent amount of poker theory...I like to apply various pieces to my style of play both through reading and observation...Reading has helped me hone my

hand range more than anything else, I think. Recently read a book on poker math that had a lot of great insight
some not very well known author who goes by Stephen King, I think. His books are pretty good.
Brad Meltzer. His books are incredible.
I'm actually reading The Inner Circle by Brad Meltzer right now
Mario Acevedo, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Stephen King, Dell Shannon (find ebooks , books are from the 80s)
Frank Herbert's Dune series is pretty good.
I'm reading Scott Lynch right now...pretty entertaining trilogy (I dont think book 4 is out yet)
You can try Paulo Coelho, he's been writing good stories (he's famous for "The alchemist")
Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy was great and so was Ready Player One which is gaming related and pretty well done.
Stephen King, R.A Salvatore, David Gemmell, Michael Crichton, Cory Doctorow, Orson Scott Card,
Haruki Murakami (Surreal/human candition), Kate Mosse (not the model) (Romance), John Connolly (Charlie Parker series - Crime/horror/fantasy), Ian Rankin (Romance).
That's my last few months, all pretty good reads, if fairly diverse genres. Meant to write (crime) for Ian Rankin!
Oh, and the Passage by Justin Cronin. Brilliant series and the third is just out. (Horror/Sci-fi/post apocalyptic/vampire). Not normally my thing, but loving them.
Thank you everyone! Right now I'm reading The Inner Circle by Brad Meltzer, The Innocent by David Baldacci and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and always looking for
New authors to try out! A lot of suggestions here that I haven't tried yet!
Ender's game was good (especially the character called Bean!) but I then read the next 3 which were really dull, so beware.
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever by Stephen Donaldson.
The Ranger's Apprentice books by John Flanagan are quite good. He's got a very descriptive way of writing.
I'm super excited about all the suggestions I've been getting here, thanks again, everyone! (and thank you Bean for the warning about the other books in the series, I
will likely give them a try, but the heads up is always appreciated)
SD Perry did a brilliant Resident Evil Series both from the games and bridge novels to fill in the gaps between them. Can't recommend them enough
Rare replay is a great streak saver
