Funny thing is, people had no idea how the family sharing thing would have even worked. MS never said how.

Trust me Chameleon, no offense, but people who would rather still have the DRM, are by far the minority.

Otherwise MS wouldn't have change their mind.

Not being treated like a thief, is much more a priority for me then that sharing thing.

Agree up to a point, but the whole thing is a giant PR disaster. People raged against the policies because they weren't clear enough

MS needs to fire its entire PR team, IMO, as I think they are most responsible for this debacle.

Assuming how I interpreted the policies is remotely right, they were a step forward, not back, and generally good for gamers.

But gamers didn't realise that, and that's MS fault.

I'm pretty bummed they've changed policy. With the change we also lose Xbox One's cool features (playing without the disk in the tray, access your games on any console...

digital games sharing, possibly cloud processing) we're left with a 360 with nicer graphics. Nothing exciting about that.

Pretty sure the only features they are removing are the game sharing, and having to have the discs in the system, everything else is still there.

Yeah, no rush for me either. 2014 will be the earliest I get a next-gen system. 2015 more likely.

There's a difference between 'weak' and 'going full retard ahead'. One shows willingness to listen (in theory), the other shows My Way Or The Highway.

Maybe, but their premise was flawed from the start. So long I require their permission to play + the prices staying the same, they can go jump.

since they knew all of the hate coming from just the rumors...they should have made this decision prior to e3, instead of pomote it and then backtrack.
