Biography

What's up everybody,

My name (as the gamertag implies) is Adam. I'm 27 and live in the Tampa, Florida area. I have a beautiful girlfriend, who will one day be my wife, and her amazing little boy that I've basically adopted as my own child. I work in retail, where the hours never stop, even when it takes me away from gaming.

I've been gaming since I was a young boy. It all started with the NES for this guy; my first gaming memory is loading up Super Mario Bros 3 at grandmas. I was immediately hooked. Trips to grandmas turned into gaming sessions real quick. From there I progressed to the N64, PlayStation 2, and the OG Xbox. Fond memories of Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and too many sports games to count. I became #TeamXbox with the release of the 360; the pull of online gaming was too much to resist. Shortly after buying a 360, the hunt for achievements began.

It all started as a friendly competition between myself and best friend Nick. Throwing down the gauntlet of who could rack up the most Gamerscore. He had a head start on me from the jump, as he was the one who convinced to get a 360 in the first place. It took me about a year to catch back up (and multiple trips to Blockbuster, RIP) but once I passed him, his interest in gaming waned. Part of that journey to more Gamerscore led me to TrueAchievements!

I've been mainly an observer on this website, checking out sessions and keeping up on news for what feels like forever (quick check on my original profile shows 7 years). I plan on trying to become more active, partake in challenges and help out whenever, but a 2 year old and a constant work schedule make that difficult.
