Sweet! I haven't been able to find an effective method for this yet. I think I need to level up to 7 because what I'm doing just isn't working that well.

The problem with tactical is that I have crappy auto locking options. I just found an assault rifle to do it. No missiles or grenade launchers work for me right now.

Pretty easy achievements, you don't need to get all stars or pro medals or anything

I finished 2017 (twice) but sadly didn't get far in this game and would like an excuse to get back into it!
That's even better, I assumed you were done with it already. Maybe we can do the campaign on Inferno in co-op from start to finish?
Good luck. Leveling up all the armors is nearly a Seriously 3.0 type task. If it helps, you can check out my walkthrough on TA

Only a couple of challenging stars in the game, the times are a breeze. I only struggled with one gold time...and you only need silver anyway
It was on par with the first in terms of difficulty. It's very much like the first game but it has some added moves and the overall look of the game is much better
