I got a 100 point achievement last night just for staring at the Xbox dashboard in my underwear.

I guarantee someone will hack the new Kinect to spy on you. If you're always online with it, its possible. Its a good way to keep people from buying them used(/hacked).

Honestly, the Kinect requirement is the one thing that's put me over the edge with the XBox One. I could handle the rest of the shit, but that's the dealbreaker.

It may sell well at 1st based on expectations of similar to the Xbox 360 but if it fails to deliver any sort of real content, it'll be in the same situation as the Wii U

In order for that to work, they'd have to be constantly recording our gameplay, then later clipping x amount of time around the achievement unlock. So much power wasting.

I give M$ about a year after launch until they start shutting down servers for 360 games.

They definitely want us to switch. IMO, if it weren't for the recession, we would have gotten new consoles sooner than this.

A while back, M$ said they wanted the 360 to last a day longer that what the PS2 which is 13 years 10 months

Same here, west. They just stopped manufacturing PS2's late last year IIRC. Its not like it was getting new games though.

I never understood the bean dive thing. Why waste time putting in so many games just to unlock 1 achievement in them? You could use that time to play 1 game instead.
