Implementing a System For Bad Game Developers
The year 2010 was the year for sequels. It seemed like every other retail game had a 2 at the end of their title.
- Mass Effect 2
- Battlefield Bad Company 2
- Just Cause 2
- Iron Man 2
- Lost Planet 2
- Crackdown 2
- Kane and Lynch 2
- Dead Rising 2
It was a good gaming year, but it would've been better if there was no glitched games that were released in 2010. There was plenty of games that were glitchy, but I hope we could change that for the future.
There has to be a way to implement some type of penalties for game developers that produce games with glitched achievements. For example, when you run into a gamer on Xbox Live who talks a lot of smack

, you have the ability to submit a bad player review for that purpose. There should be a system for game developers almost identical to the one I just explained.
If a game developer produces multiple games with glitched achievements, gamers should send them a bad rep. If the developer accumulates enough bad rep, they should no longer be able to make games for a certain amount of time

. It's a long shot, but something needs to be done to let the people know we are no longer going to tolerate glitched games.

Red Ring Of Death
Well, I found a subject that every gamer can relate to. If you own a Xbox 360, chances are you experienced a problem of some sort. The red ring of death is a term used when three red flashing lights occur on your Xbox 360; It usually means it needs to be repaired. The cause of the red ring of death is a flaw in the design of the Xbox 360 and not enough proper testing.

The Xbox 360 launched in the year two thousand and five and there has been numerous cases with three flashing lights. I looked in different places for a specific number on the rate of failure for the Xbox 360, but couldn't find any. I guess Microsoft doesn't want to release those numbers. The red ring of death is not the only ongoing problem with the system, there has been other problems

, such as the system scratching games.

In conclusion, the Xbox 360 took the world by storm when it was released, but then its problems started to happen. It's a good thing Microsoft has excellent customer support,

otherwise there would've been a lot of upset gamers..
Peace,

Unobtainable Achievements.
[I went into my archives and came up with this post]
Well, I'm here to talk about a hot button issue that affects every gamer from every gaming community. Games that have unobtainable achievements are a major problem in the gaming community. There are achievements that are discontinued, which means the server for the game went down. Then you have unobtainable achievements which means the achievement was never obtainable from the first day the game was released.
One good example of a game that has this problem is Ghostbusters: The Video Game. I remember somebody on 360voice started a petition to have that game patched up and fixed. I don't know how many signatures he/she collected, but that's a big step into fixing the problem. Everybody needs to understand that when people come together for a that cause, good things could happen. A good example of this is when every gaming community rallied for an achievement in NBA LIVE 07.
Anyways, I brought up the subject of unobtainable achievements to shed some light on the topic. I don't know how people who make games could get away with selling a product that is defective. Next time a gamer buys a game and it has an achievement that is not obtainable he/she should go back to the retailer and demand a refund because the product is defective, but don't forget you need a receipt.
I can't fix games that have unobtainable achievements, but every gamer can bring some light on the subject. Hopefully people who make games would test them out before their release to prevent future games from having problems.
Peace,
