On Tap For May 2012
After over a month of not checking into web sites on a daily basis, I've pretty much kicked the habit. I look forward to having the time for Newshounding again, but I've never been a "quantity" guy and I doubt that's going to change. Along those lines, I'm done with competitive GS events as I'd like to play stuff for fun and not have to worry about scoring a certain amount each week (or each day, in the case of Skyline).
I've got a lot of slower games sitting on my shelf that need some love, so here's what I'll be playing for the next month (subject to change of course):
Just Cause 2
Pure stupid fun. I've got two story missions left, then it's time for explosive grinding sessions.
The Saboteur
Next open world game after Just Cause 2. I'm not above re-watching Inglorious Basterds to get myself in the proper Nahzi killing mood.
Devil May Cry HD Collection
First DMC, as I intend to play them in order. Otherwise DMC 3 would have me spoiled.
Various Fighting Games
I got my copy of Super Street Fighter IV back from a friend, Soul Calibur V needs some grinding done, BlazBlue: CS deserves some playtime and really, fighting games are so easy to pick up and play, I could see myself cycling through these.
We'll see what the end result of my playing looks like when June rolls around.
