Can you not just finish up everything else, then delete your game save and go again? If it is like DI1, all data is contained in save file
I would like to avoid having to playthrough again....but will need to do that as worst case. The quest shows as completed but the game crashed and now the counter
doesn't match up to the quests I have completed

I don't see the argument really. How is having to be online once a day and fucking with what works is any better then having to get up and fucking changing a disc.
Being that lazy is really unhealthy.
It's not the getting up, its the ability to quick swap between games etc and not having to carry all your games everywhere
I don't see how it's that much hard to put a disc into a tray then going through a menu and clicking a button, unless you play like 30 games a day or something crazy.
Also I don't see the game carrying thing being a problem outside of a major move which would probably only occur over a console cycle unless your job requires you to trav
