Does anyone know if Giants portal works with the original game? Toys R Us is having a huge sale on the toys and Giants so might pick up a few for my son's graduation.

The portal is the same as far as I know. All the giants skylanders and original skylanders specify whether they are compatible with one an other.
Awesome, thanks! Any certain one I should look for? Or do kids just like them all? Never paid attention to these before, so Im just going tomorrow and buying anything.
Quite honestly kids will love them all.
Make sure you buy at least one of each element and for the Giants game you need at least 1 giant.
Or just getting quick points and then playing something fun. Not that I think it's the best strategy but it depends on how deep your stash is.
It was just weird seeing it on the top 3 games all of sudden. Thats basically the only game I have for a life saver lol

Many of the top scorers each week can also burn easy games and still have enough to play, on top of no job to interfere with gaming.
I know! This is my first GTASC and I just wrote to Ozark that some of these people dedicate their life to this competition. Im happy just to still be in it!
Based on last year, getting even 500 gs per week will get you 2/3 of the way. Save your easys for when it matters

Games like this and the Mario series are memories for a reason. Its either Im getting old, or they just don't care anymore and focus on graphics and multiplayer.

Seems ok so far. Takes a lot to get use to since there's no manual. But tried some popular games and they were fun.
Also downloaded emulators for nes, snes, and N64. Going to get some games and see how it works tonight.

Did you not hear? The controllers also sample your DNA, if it doesn't match that registered against the game disc you are using it turns off the game ...
and forces you to watch sex in the city 2 from start to finish until you can resume your game. technically they are not preventing second hand games being played though.
