Boosting for pocketchange
ok, every game I've bought, I've bought because I want to play it. Yes, I can be a completionist, and an obsessive, but every game I've bought I've wanted to play, and I've never let hard or impossible achievements put me off from a game I WANT. I've never bought a game just because its an easy 1000. If achievements have disuaded me from buying a game, its only ever because I was in two minds over the game, and they were only part of the reason I said no.
There are two games on my list that I never wanted to play - shadowrun, and pimp my ride. Shadowrun was played over a friends who'd just bought it, and insisted i at least do the training and play a few games, and pimp my ride I was logged in by accident, and my friend played using my profile. on the one hand, the hole they leave in my completion bugs me. On the other, I simply have no interest in playing either game, neither of them were good, or appealed to me.
But...
I'm seeing shadowrun in 2nd hand bins for £2.50 now, effectively pocket change. I'm still not interested in playing it, but at such a low price I'm tempted to buy it, stick it on my boost list and just do any sessions that come my way between playing games I actually want to play.
and so I ask... to boost, or not to boost? should I just ignore this game I really don't like, or give into my completionist side, and spend a few quid for something just to be boosted?
