Fairly large file sizes for all of them though and my phone is already pretty full, I doubt I will be able to even DL any of them right away.

Well I don't know for Mass Effect since I don't have a WP8 yet but NBA Jam & Tiger are both $3 while Real Racing 2 is $5.

That's actually not too bad price wise. Definitely on the looking-to-purchase list. Especially NBA Jam. Sucker for that game.

I don't see the doom and gloom. The device is architecturally amazing if you know anything about that stuff. They announced there will be 15 1st party games in year 1.

The big thing for me was the announcement of Blu-ray support. BC is a bummer, but not a show stopper for me even with my collection as long as I can play on both.

Sony is a viable alternative even if they go a similar route as long as they keep playstation plus and it's free games which is a huge value over Gold.

Same here, I wanted a better gaming console not a entertainment system.

They say you can view LIVE TV on your console. You can just switch over the source channel and watch TV normally.
