Daily Blog - 1/27/13
I know it is technically the 28th here on the east coast of the US (where I'm from), but I had a pretty busy day unfortunately.

I'm still disconnected on Xbox LIVE, which bums me out. I can't get TA to update what little progress I have made these last few days. I think I mentioned this last time, but my disc drive no longer works, so I'm trapped with what I have on my hard drive until I can afford a replacement. I hate how it died on me so close to the next-gen release; I was hoping it would stretch out till then.

I'm still making minimal progress through Alan Wake. I just completed episode four and picked up "Child of the Elder God" for 10GS. Impressively, I snatched it on my Nightmare playthrough, which I am pretty proud of.

I'm thinking about finally starting Torchlight. It's a game I grabbed a few years back and just never played it. Not for any particular reason, I just never bothered to actually play it. The TA ratio makes it all the more tempting wink

Sorry for the brevity of these posts, I just don't spend nearly as much time gaming as I used to, and I have far fewer achievements to pursue given my current situation.

I don't have the patience for collectibles, and constantly putting games aside due to needing a guide/walkthrough to get a decent score.

It's a good game if you get it for like $20 or less. Was very short and the levels were tiny. It's like buying a 500 page book and finding out only 30 pages have ink.
