Well their explanation made sense. The xbox 360 runs on x86 (also known as 32bit) and the new xbox one runs on x64 (also known as 64bit). So a issue there.
There compiler handles the 32 bit v 64 bit for you. Programming does not matter. The part that is different if for the device drivers.
They could have an app that's an Xbox 360 emulator. They can bridge 64 bit and 32 but, they're just lazy.
