Also the always online issue is basically true because your saves and content are saved to the cloud which can't be accessed unless you are online.

To install the game to the HDD you must be connected to the internet as well so how is the always online rumor false? If you don't have connection for a day you can't

load your save or start a new game.

I don't think they have actually announced that the games will be Blu Ray format, just that there will be a Blu Ray player built in.

It'll come with each console, which means it'll be forced on you. Just watch as they add Kinect achievements to every game.

Grenade myself repeatedly as a merc and get 12% on gadgets. WtF game...

I think you get percentages for capping so many files in a match. So, say you cap 3 files in one match then that raises your percentage.

I remember I would get percentages for having a flashlight on a cell and then I would grenade them, also try to blow up cells with that flying robot thing.

But, I think the reason you are getting percentages for grenading yourself is purely due to "using" a grenade, but not the actual death itself.

I am talking about just going solo - no bots. I went from 80% this morning to 88% percent by myself hacking files as a cell, and from 75% to 87% killing myself as a merc.

The mp on this game is seriously a fucking pain to understand regarding characteristics.

Yea, I received percentages capping files when I was solo boosting the wins on every map. You get percentages for being the only person to cap in a match.

I looked at the guide and got a rough idea of how to level up the percentages, then I would just do a hybrid mixture of everything.

I would kill cells without the flashlight spotting them and then I would kill cells with the flashlight spotting them. I got some percentages for killing cells ziplining

as well. However, I would have my friend zipline and then I would kill him with the flying robot thing, which did raise my percentages.

Have you sat there as a merc with that special vision active yet? Seriously, just leave that special vision on for the entire length that you are a merc, it should raise

The stat part of this game is pretty much the reason I hate the multiplayer on this - no way to tell what you have done and haven't.....so annoying

I went from 70% to 86% over the past few days of not doing much of anything except a few kills and a lot of solo maps. Direct action is still my lowest @ 64%

I think direct action comes from being the merc and killing cells that are in the processing of capping files.

Hit me up if you want to grind out some more. You probably need some drops on Mercs and Spies still...

check out the solution for the officer achievement - guy wrote a huge list of things to do in order to increase direct action

since one of the rumors was no backwards compatibility. I won't quit gaming tho, just grab a PS4 instead and play for fun instead of achievements/trophies.

The backwards compatibility upsets me, because I don't want to have to keep switching between boxes. Be easier to just swap out the disc on the same box.

The biggest thing I still want to know is if they really are going to let developers add achievements any time they want, without DLC. That bothers me.

Then you end up with shit like id Software did with Rage, adding a new difficulty and achievement for it 14 months after the game came out forcing me to play it again.

Backwards compatibility would hinder the system so I think it is a smart move to do away with it.

Isn't your Xbox Live account now integrated into your Windows Live account? In theory, as long as Windows (and Windows Live) exists, it shouldn't be a problem.

In reality, things don't always pan out the way they should. We'll see which way it goes, I guess.

I want to finish the games on my shelf before I buy a new system. I don't have the time to really game as often as I would like to anyway, so fuck the 720 (for now)
