And the pre-owned games thing that hasn't even been settled with retailers? I don't care if I can't buy a pre-owned game, I'd rather have a brand new copy anyway :) Done.

then there wouldn't be a gaming industry to begin with. Its the people that don't mind paying full price on release day and support the developers who spend

I agree with all of this except for one thing, which has been bothering me recently-what happens to being able to play the system if the built in Kinect fails?

Especially past a normal one year warranty? Do I then have to buy a whole new system? Because it wont work without it being able to see you.

If anyone one should be complaining about the new/used game thing it's me, Matt and Kraken, buying a game on release in Australia is at least twice as costly for us than

the US or Europe.

for some hard decisions. I've never heard of a Kinect failing, has this happened to you? Did you knock it off the shelf or something?

Just raising a point, I don't own a Kinect and really don't feel the need to own one, and packaging one with each system won't make me use it more.

But since it is there and required to identify you (supposedly at least once every 24 hours) what happens if/when it stops working?
