It's based on being ready for all the big titles. Ad the fact they have the design finished, working, and running.
They are waiting in software now, I think hardware is complete.

avatar yes, but since DLC and downloaded games wont transfer, I would seriously doubt the props and clothing...
The props and such are compatible on Win8 and the Phone, so I'd assume it wouldn't be hard to use on the One as well. Especially with the cloud.

A bit going on xbox twitter that the preowned fee isn't happening. But who knows. I'll check in again in November :P
Lovefilm must have just had a heart attack. No preowned means only the wealthy will truly compete for achievements now?
I already buy all my games anyway, so no issues with me. I'm sure the "used fee" will be sub-$5, so that's no issue either.

They never announced anything about no pre-owned games or backwards compatibility.

No pre-owned games would be a nightmare for GAME, Gamestop, Lovefilm, GameFly etc. Do you really think that industry retailers would sit idly by...
and fall like Blockbuster did when Netflix arrived? It would be very surprising to not be backwards compatible and NOT allow used games.

Yes they did....the head of Microsoft did it in e post conference issues. Confirmed no backwards compat, there is a preowned fee etc.

Yup, post-reveal interviews revealed some of the other info. Games have to be installed, too. Not sure how that'll work with games on Blu-ray discs and only 500 GB HDD...
