What about the "punchcards" offer thing? I wasn't clear on all of that.
Some people asked me why I hadn't pre-order Inside which I plan to play ASAP. I confirmed this in the Rewards FAQ and with @XboxLiveRewards.

I believe pre-ordering is fine for the punchcard offers in general. But each of those can be different. I'm just talking about the MyVIP rewards.
yea i never do anything that way, i always wait until the game is released so i get my 8%
Do you have to register again? don't think I have got anything since Xbox one came out
you shouldn't pre-order months in advance just within the month the game comes out.
And how else do they expect people to reach $1200 for myvip reward level 5 rofl..
Plus they say i should go gold to get 10% but i am gold already so obviously they don't have a fricken clue wtf there doing over there..
which is shown in there fing pathetic monthly promos lol.
This offer is only open to select Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital titles in the Xbox Store. In order to qualify for the punchcard, games must be worth at least $59.99 each
before tax, and must have become available for sale in the marketplace within the 30 days prior to your purchase date.
Scenario 1: Game X has a release date of May 15, but became available for pre-order in the Xbox Store on April 30. To qualify for the punchcard, your purchase would have
to be completed by May 29 to make the 30-day availability window.
Scenario 2: Game Z has a release date of April 30, but isn’t available for pre-order, so it becomes available for purchase in the Xbox Store on that same day. To qualify,
your purchase would have to be made by May 29 to make the 30-day availability window.
Really not hard to understand how to get $15 back from the promo.
What would we do without Yoda to clarify everything? :-\
Go on about our lives.
Lol I try
Yes you might not $60 towards my VIP rank but you get $15 back instead of a max of $6 back.
^You have to buy 3 games for $15 back. Unless you are talking about the physical pre-order from MS store which ends in 2 days.
Ok fair enough there whole rewards system is F'd to begin with.. You pretty much gotta buy everything digital to get any sort of return.
But even then games go on discount so fing fast now.
Xbox Rewards is just not worthwhile I don't pay attention to it. I only preorder a $20 game once in a while for the 15k back.
You have to change to AU store, license may get revoked, you may get $10 (doubtful), yada, yada, yada.

You won't get banned for doing this?
I can't guarantee that! :-) It's generally accepted that changing your region anytime you want is not against the TOS.
It's been fixed.
they made another risk game sigh..
It's not guaranteed, but there was that memo a while back that said region-swapping wasn't a problem.
I did not think this game was fun. Oh well.
