At this point: definitely. Yes, I'm a hardcore gamer, but I do enjoy the media abilities as well. The games they showed looked stunning, though.
Just like with every new generation, it'll depend on the developer. For every BF4 there will be a Jumper. And like every new generation the 1st year will be glitchy.

True, but in comparing both these next gen conferences. Sony had a stronger conference I think. This Xbox one conference sucked
Sony definitely had a stronger reveal than M$oft as far as the games went. This conference offered very little if you aren't interested in additional features.

Was the reveal worth watching? I was busy so never bothered but I remember when I got my 1st 360... 2nd hand with 28 games, no internet & just a desire to play....
Back then all the games worked & it persuaded me to buy an ethernet cable, a router & a HDTV... I hope that MS will be making this n00b friendly like back then.

The reveal said 15 games and here is what was revealed. Fifa, Madden, NBA Live, UFC, Quantum Break and Forza 5. It was said that 8 games will be new IPs.
Only one was a new IP so there are 2 others that are established IPs and if I had to put money on it I would say NHL and MLB are the other 2.
Don't be surprised it some launch titles are delayed or killed. Happened with the 360.
