Bye bye I! Vote on a K game!
The spectrum couldn't have gone form one side to the other anymore from these last two games lol. More on that later. The winner of the J game is.........
Joe Danger 2: The Movie!
Stats:Jeremy McGrath's Offroad-
7 VotesJoe Danger2: The Movie-
8 VotesWow, that was close! Didn't think it would be that close what with the rave reviews that the Joe Danger series gets (87 and 81 respectively on www.gamerankings.com compared to the 60 for Jeremy McGrath). Gotta say though that I'm happy this won as I absolutely LOVED the first game (its probably in my top 5 XBLA games) and although I heard this wasn't quite as good, I'm sure its still great (just hopefully not as hair-pullingly hard).
Mini-review of I Am AliveOk, right off the bat, this is probably the most bleak and depressing game I've possibly ever played besides Fallout 3. I have never seen so much gray, brown, black and white in a game. Ever. This game and I got off to a bad start as I really wasn't enjoying the clunky controls, bare bones premise and overall not that FUN-ness of it for about the first hour or so. Then it grew on me. Some cataclysmic event (which they oddly never really explain) seperated a man (I don't think we ever actually learn his name) and his wife and daughter. The goal is to re-unite with them obviously. Along the way you meet other characters and the plot fleshes out. A little bit. The game puts a MASSIVE emphasis on surviving, insomuch that they drain stamina by running, climbing, jumping and walking around in these "dust storms", which can be regained by standing still or by the use of items which may or may not be needed for victims caught in the wreckage. Oh ya, and you usually only have 1 bullet and use it (among other things) to intimidate and battle other survivors). So ya....its tough. Not a long game, but I enjoyed it, despite its flaws. 7/10

Stealth David is going to love this one! We are going to do something a bit different here. These are all "Kinect Sports Gems" so I'll just list there subtitles.
Vote for TWO of them and I will do them as I figured these would be short enough that I should do two. Even if you don't know these at all, just vote for your favourite sports/activities
K Games3 Point Contest (Basketball)
10 Frame Bowling (Bowling)
Darts Vs Zombies (Darts)
Field Goal Contest (American Football)
Penalty Saver (Football)
Ping Pong (Table Tennis)
Prize Driver (Golf)
Reaction Rally (Tennis)
Ski Race (Downhill Skiing)
Backstory:Not much to say except I did not have a K game at all until I saw all of these on sale recently (down from 240MSP a piece to 160).

Vote on a J game! Yup! It was that quick!
Holy speedy completion Batman! Great choice on
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit guys/gals! And the winner of the I game is.........I Am Alive!

1 VoteYup, this is about what I expected. Islands Of Wakfu seemed like it could be interesting, but I Am Alive seemed right up my alley. Way to go
Chad and Jessie, your "streak" continues.
Mini-review of Hell Yeah!: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit:This game has a helluva sense of humour. Right out of the gate I found its jokes and the over the top way of killing these ridiculous enemies hilarious. The animations for all 101 of the "bosses" you kill are just priceless. Fun, easy side-scrolling shooter. My only complaint would be that I find the game makes it too hard to jump and shoot at the same time (considering you have the jump with A, then aim with RS and pull RT to shoot), which is uncomfortable. Still, lots of fun and I loved the Legend of Zelda reference

Backstory:Joe Danger 2: The Movie has been in my backlog since this past "Countdown to 2013" sale. I literally just purchased Jeremy McGrath's Offroad in this past week's DotW just so it wouldn't be a 1-game letter. See, I'm thinking of you guys.

Finally! Vote on an I game!!!
Almost a month later, I finally finished
Gyromancer! Woohoo! Kinda makes me wish you guys picked
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, wait, scratch that! And the winner of the H vote is.......................
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit!
Stats:Happy Wars-

7 Votes Hexic HD-
2 Votes Hydro Thunder Hurricane-

1 Vote Alright, so definitely not as close as some previous votes, but whatever. I'm actually pretty happy about the outcome of this vote you guys did, as this is actually only the 2nd time of the 8 letters ive got votes on that you guys picked the one I actually wanted to play

, (the other was Alan Wake's AN fyi).
Mini-review of "Guy-Romancer":
Ok, here we go. This is, as my fellow XBL friend
Officer Zero pointed out, a crappy Puzzle Quest clone. Here's the things I liked: I liked the "moving" around a boardgame-like space and getting in random encounters. I also REALLY liked the beautiful hand-drawn art of the creatures and characters you encounter. That was very nice (very Magic: The Gathering-like). The Bad: Boring. This game is BORING. Very, very dry. It's like PQ, but with the RPG-ness and fun drained out. Terrible story, (not that it really matters in a "Puzzle-RPG"). The fights take way too damn long, not to mention the Day 1 DLC with achievements it had. Did I mention its boring and the "big" (10G) achievement is VERY luck driven? Completionists (and people in general) stay away. Still prefer this to attempting Geometry Wars
