When I played Tinker on PC, once I had initially installed & logged into Games for Windows Live, my profile would auto login without any issues.

Play 360 at home & PC at work. I hope its as easy as this with X1.

MaseJ is right - you do not need to add to a USB stick, just log in and out as you please provided that you are connected to xbox live. Everything updates automatically

As for XB1, dashboard update is coming late August or early Sept (region dependent) that will prepare x360/GFWL for xb1 allignment

but gamer pic, achievements, cloud saves (if enabled) etc will all sync automatically within about 2-3 seconds of signing in

Consoles are a bit different than PC, so it wouldn't work the exact same way, but if you put your profile on the cloud you could easily move from 360 to X1.

I have done the thing Masej is speaking of and it's true, but on the console you need to have the profile on the one you're going to play it with.

It would only work over the cloud with two consoles. Otherwise you need a USB, or would have to download/recover it each time.

No, you are wrong. I have cloud disabled on mine (got annoyed with games always asking which to save to) and it works fine. You only need to download once

Lol? You can't have one copy of your profile on each console. If you do that and slip up without connecting to LIVE you can lose progress. That's happened to me before.

I use the USB method, but cloud is just as good, and yes your right about not connecting to LIVE with one of them...

Ah, that is where the confusing came about then - both my consoles are connected so I can jump between both without needing to redownlaod the profile.
