The "confirmation" email is the email with the code. Timing seems to vary with how hard they're getting slammed, but my most recent batch of codes took about an hour.

Unfortunately, Itunes does me no good. Got a gift card for them a couple years ago that's still sitting on my account. Tend not to use them for my music needs.
