"DRM" is a loose term, the way someone says they are "sick" Bluray uses the AACS system. Look at how many ppl got locked out of bluray players when they were introduced.

You can make any form of protection system, but as long as no one looks at it like "DRM" then all is fine? It's just a way to manage your licensing rights.

Will, the number of people complaining about DRM without knowing what it even meant far outweighed the number of educated people like yourself.

Perhaps EA games will still use that system with an EA bit of 'The Cloud'? Dun dun durrr. ;)

Yeah at the end of the day. Every movie and music I buy is digital. I was annoyed but would've dealt with..

No the world is ready. Sony was not ready to retire the Bluray technology to the closet along side Beta, Mini discs, and the UMD. Sony is good at proprietary products.

That's like people thinking they own all the content on a disc, even though they technically don't own any of it. I've heard it mentioned...

I was ready for it to.. I think going all digital and relying on the cloud would've been great. Less hackers etc

The online requirement was never a sticking point for me. But I guess a big win for the 45 people out there without broadband Internet. ;)

I'm glad they listened, but people see still bitching, so I'm wondering why did they even bother? MS catered and still gets blasted for going back.... Dafuq?

I personally don't get the features, no one's said anything really to clear that up its all speculation (unless there is a news story out there unknown)

I'm just sick of all the crying again after Sony destroying M$ at E3 and them making their comeback has really (and truly) brought out the real assholes into play.
