Way to go!
Won legit! Fun!
Awesome. Closest I've come legit is six in a row.
I had my two college friends playing with me and skyping at the same time so we were able to coordinate some objective games, so that helped. We immediately lost the 11th
Every once in a while I'll go to a garage sale and I'll see some N64 games or some Atari games and I'll immediately snatch them up, snickering at how the 16 year olds
running it don't know that Banjo Kazooie sells at stores for $30. Nevermind games like Perfect Dark, Mario Party (1, 2, and 3), Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis...

Diddy Kong Racing, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and many many others also go for around that price just to name a few.
But then I also go and I see an original xbox game. And I almost always pass, even when it's around a $1 or less.
To me those games aren't collectible. They will likely never go up in significant value. And to me, I think that's a trend that has started. That is, games on the last
systems and our current systems are no longer 'collectible' - their value won't continue to go up or ever be truly significant years after their release.
There may be some - don't get me wrong. Collector's editions of certain games with steel cases, or add-on items and maps might still gather some value.
But the games themselves, as a whole, are entering a time when their monetary value only exists as long as their console is relevant. Agree or disagree?
The only real games you can consider collectible nowadays (360/ps3 era onwards) are going to be the ones that are given a limited run like retro city rampage on the PS4
Disagree. Value is based on scarcity and demand. You can find an Xbox or PS2 that demand $100 (Marvel vs. Capcom 2). You can find older generation games on Virtual Boy
Games nowadays are printed in far to great a number to ever be considered collectible in the sense of rarity anyway. we may still find games that are considered..
Dreamcast, SNES, NES...almost anything that has the original factory seal has great value. My brother opened my sealed Super Mario World a couple years back lol.
collectible due to the quality of them and the prices may be a bit higher because of it but a few years from now £50/$75 upwards tier of game will simply not exist in the
modern era of systems. Xbox/PS2/gamecube will be the last systems to ever really have truly collectible games that are both rare and very good.
My Horse & Me 2 and other underproduced games will always have a high value because more people want it than copies were made and they are out of production.
I'm still mad I can't find my Earthbound with Scratch & Sniff that my best friend from 6th grade got both of us for $6 each. That and Mario is almost 3 weeks pay for me.
There will always be some game that gets a limited production run for whatever reason...it'll happen on the One & PS4 at some point. Myabe Halo Chinese falls under this.
I have to agree with TP, I collect CIB SNES games, but 360/One? Trade them in when I'm done. That and games back then (generally the awesome ones) were works of art in
themselves Zelda:ALttP for example, the instruction book itself is a piece of art! Full color illustrations, lengthy, story.
Games dont even have instruction booklets anymore...
Chinese/Korean versions of some games are already worth 100+ dollars because they're rare. I imagine 360/One games will get there someday.
These digital games will go up in value don't worry! But seriously, I wonder the same especially with Pokemon cards. Just can't see these new ones actually being of value
Just a quick suggestion, why don't you write a blog about these thoughts so we can have a lengthy discussion instead of short comments?
I don't think my Eliminate Down, Gleylancer and Musha will ever be worth anything
Good suggestion HellWolf...kind of forgot that was a feature. I'll put that on my to-do list for the next thought I have.
To add some to the topic too. I don't think it's gone, it just slowed down. Back in the days there was a much lower production number, and it was harder to pirate games.
Reacting to what you are playing, I have a copy of TDU with road map included, not gonna sell that for anything. Same goes for my Xbox KOTOR2 copy.
Even if the production numbers are higher these days, because people don't see games as rarities anymore it's still hard to find a copy in flawless condition.
This game has such an irritating setup. Why do I have to go to each of my houses separately to see what cars are in there?! Why can't I just have a list of owned ones...
Some rides need special homes yo.

One of the best games ever made, isn't there a fast travel option though?
There is. It's just such a thing. I'll read that I need a class C car for a thing. So I'll go and look in my houses. It doesn't say what class each car is that's in the
House. Then I'm not quite sure if the class C car I have is actually a good one or aa cheap one I got earlier. So I bring up the Internet and find info. And I see the
Best car is not one I own. So I change the map filter to dealerships. And I have to look through each one to find the brand I want instead of them all being available in
One place. And I finally find it and the car is out of stock. So I set a thing to tell me when it shows up. So I go to do a different race and at the end it tells me it
Is in. So I go back to the place and buy it. Then I have to tune it. So I change the filter and find the place that can do that type of car, again, not sure why can't
Just be one location. So finally I can do that mission. And I've now forgotten where it is on the map.
Not saying it's not a fun game, I just think they sacrificed some simplicity for the illusion of open world complexity.
Sounds incredibly realistic. I always get sidetracked and forget what I was supposed to do and where I was supposed to do it
