SixSticks Six Stupidly Ambitious Achievement Completion New Years' Resolutions for 2013
2013 is all about moving on from the old and in with the new. To that end, I've got to grind out the remaining work of these time and fun wasters. Smart? No. Obsessive? Yes.
6) Dead or Alive Xtreme 2
Complete Item Collection in Dead or Alive: Xtreme 2This gets the 6 spot for being the most visually appealing of the list, even though it's probably the most grind-y of the games.
5) Quake 4
Seasoned warrior in Quake 4Number One in Quake 4So far I'm somewhere around #120 or so (that goes for both games played and leaderboard position), but with a leaderboard that cuts off the high end digits, it's almost impossible to tell how far I am points-wise; good (sic sad) thing I've been taking diligent notes.
4) Fight Night Champion
Squat Thrusting in Fight Night ChampionThe amount of times I've procrastinated boosting this equals the amount of offline time it's taken me to prepare a decent enough strategy to boost this. Too bad it will require about 1000 more matches, require 10+ unique gamertags used interchangeably and many late-night, slow traffic hours trying to avoid legit players.
3) All obtainable achievements from games with 2005 release dates.
Self explanatory. There aren't many games left on my card for this one but a few that are a looking heinous.
2) Rocksmith
Time to pop this in and be an expert guitar player (according to this game, at least). This is definitely going to be the achievement I can take with me for the rest of my life, or at least until I lose control of my hands.
1) ALL EA GAMES WITH ONLINE ACHIEVEMENTS
Nothing new here. With EA slowing down game releases for 2013 I may have a shot of this if only it weren't for all the achievements EA releases that requires insane amounts of time and Live party coordination.
6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Happy New Year!
