And, even though I've never had an issue maxing out my friend's list (don't think I've ever gotten past 90), but having up to 1,000 friends is neat too.
I only hope you can break them down into groups, like you can on TA here.

Yeah that'd be sick. Some people are bitching about everything. I only have 2 complaints. No backwards compatability ( can't play 360 games ) and Xbox One name should be
Xbox Infinite as they originally planned.
The reveal of the new system makes me less motivated to play my 360 now, if they are just gonna delete the 360 servers by 2015 as it is rumored.
Especially if achievements are non transferable.
I actually don't mind having no backwards compatibility, as long as I could move my account back & forth between X360 and XOne then I won't mind

You should be able to just sign into your account regularly on either console - just can't be signed in on both at the same time. Much like how it works now.
Yeah, I can't imagine the achievements not carrying over - it's tied to your profile.
I can see how people don't support this system, Jim. To each their own, but I'm definitely not rushing out to buy it. I don't mind finishing up my backlog, then upgrade
Well you can use your Windows Phone and Windows 8 PC games at the same time as Your 360.. So I imagine you can use both 360 and One at same time.

I just get annoyed at games that treat royal flush and straight flush as if they are different hands. Like a pair of sixes is different than a pair of twos. Bah.

A royal flush is just the highest possible straight flush.
I like your perspective on it, but I don't make the rules. Of course, there would be a lot of split pots if they didn't treat those hand types as different hands.

I know all that stuff is optional I use the apps all the time netflix, lovefilm, not tv. I don't see how its a bad thing for a more streamlined and convenient experience

I have a proper device for apps, i.e. an iPad. That is all.
So do I but nobody is making you use the apps I would rather watch on my 50 inch tv than a little handheld screen

It could go either way. 1. Sony rides on the positive wave and disregards all poss. of fee's for used games, 2. Sony sees the poss. of earning more money and follow suit.

The d-pad has been fixed for a long while with the transforming ones, I think.
Nope, they were terrible, even worse.
I disagree, though I never use the saucer configuration. The raised d-pad made a huge difference.
For fighting games it was utter crap.
And more fragile than original sucky d-pad.
How so? I've had no problem with mine at all.
My Gears 3 Dpad broke, and is malfunctioning, and from a video game store they have several returns of transforming d-pads controllers.
From one friend "I had to return 3 controllers in the first couple of days until I got this one that so far is lasting more than a month."
I'm pretty sure the solution is to just not play fighting games.

I have to agree with FOKEN, The actuation point is too large and i've had 7 snap whilst playing.
i found the chrome D pads to be the worse of the lot.
I've been dealt two Royal Flush hands (although only one registered due to my game freezing) and a Four of a Kind hand type. Any moment now...

I just want the new Xbox to be faster on XBL and not make a noise like a washing machine whenever I put a disc in (and yes I have a new slim and it's as noisy as ever).
My slim is quiet as a purring cat. Try removing yours from atop your washing machine.

The new Xbox is already outdated as it will not support ULTRA HD TV'S.... unless they add a patch to upconvert.....which is still a fail anyway.
Ultra HD TV's? ... i have no idea what they even are? I like to think i'm generally ontop of technology as well, clearly i'm not. Regardless, seem pointless.
Until ultra he is more commonplace ita wasted resources
in 3-4 years Ultra will outnumber normal HDTV....and the Xbox one will have 5-7 years left.....hence my point.

I don't know about 20 hours - For me, I've gotten 90% done in three hours.
Of course, I still need to get gold in the rest of the levels - I've gotten 5/9. That could pose a problem for one particular level.
It's easy to pick up the gameplay and the collectibles are easy to spot too. I should be able to wrap up this game in another couple of hours when I get home.
