I am not into playing games simply for gamerscore. I play games I think will be fun, though they aren't always.

I am a Completionist so I will boost achievements to finish off the full score on a game.

But I still think The primary purpose of a game should be entertainment, not achievements. If the act of getting achievements is distracting you from enjoying a game then maybe you need to re-evaluate why you are playing the game.
