Game used to do it though a long time ago, remember the 7 day return policy they had? they didn't do it for long
I believe Gamestop still does that in the US.
They do for used games, Ive never done it though. It always seemed unethical to me.

Yeah the markup is extremely high, I use to think so until I started managing my stores Hardware department. It does $1.5 million with 58% profit margin per year.
What I want to know is whats the profit for new games, if it is run like my store Used games make up for the lack or margin in new games.
For example lumber at my store has about a 5% margin so the high margin in hardware makes up for the lack of margin in lumber.
Well in aus a new game is $78-$110 so I say F U and return the ell out of it
