One Mulligan per game please?
If you've happened upon my stats here on TA (and why would you have), you'll probably see that I'm something of a completionist. I enjoy netting that last achievement to get the 100% and add the game to the trophy case.
Thus, it is with much disdain that I admit I've had the unfortunate opportunity to play both games that are damn near impossible to complete and some that are broken.
Now - when it comes to games that are near impossible except for all but the best players (i.e. Satch Boogie on GH:WT, Several achievements on GH:SH, etc.) I can accept that if I was so concerned with finishing them, I should not have bought them.
What I can't accept is when a developer such as Teminal Reality completely effs up a title, like Ghostbusters:TVG, admits it was wrong, then issues a PATCH to fix the issue, draws more gamers in (like me) and then the patch doesn't work either. At this point Terminal Reality shrugs shoulders and says meh, got ur money.....
Personally I think Xbox / Microsoft has an obligation to go after these companies and FORCE them to fix the problem. In lieu of that happening, Xbox should at least allow gamers who want to erase broken games from their profiles to do so. Once per game per gamertag.
I've always said I consider it no different than buying a car with no radio. The purchase works, but it didn't come as advertised and in (terminal) reality its not complete. It's broken.
At the end of the day, everyones reasons for gaming are their own. Mine is to complete games. When I can't do that because of someone elses ineptitude that upsets me.
Xbox? Microsoft? Mulligan please?
