I remember getting all bent out of shape about last gen change and backwards compatibility etc. We shall survive the innovation, maybe even like some of it.
Time though to accept the thousands of titles released for 360 might, just might not get 100% completion before you know...360 death, gamer death, etc.
The active achievement system coming with next gen is gonna be final nail in coffin for completionists any way...may as well find therapist now.

Actually windows 8 and surface are not doing that fine, 8 is selling less than vista. Microsoft already releasing a new windows to replace 8 (free if you bought 8)

Well windows blue is something "new" as I told you those who got 8 will be able to upgrade to 8.1 for free. In reality is 8 with upgrades.

Main downsides are no BC and there's a fee for playing older games, more of an entertainment hub than a gaming console as well, and all those apps and everything
a lot of people don't use. Completionists also don't like how games will continually get new achievements. Only thing I liked was it came with a DVR.

GamerScore WILL carry over. Console wont be "always on" and games will install on hard drive and wont need disc to be on.
