The Easy AI in Catan makes it unbelievably easy to win. Start a game and set the setup to automatic. It will always set it up the same. Have it set to either quick or normal; quick only gives 7 points per game and normal gives 10 points per game. In quick you will receive a settlement (1 point) and a city (2 points). For this guide, I am referring to quick mode.
First, build roads. It is entirely possible to get the longest road card (+2 points) on your second turn. After getting this, you should be at 5 points.
Now you have a couple options. You can upgrade your settlement to a city (+1 point) and build another settlement somewhere along your longest road. You could also buy development cards and attempt to get the largest army card (+2 points) to win the game. You could also receive victory point cards (+1 point) and win that way.
Basically, continue normal play and win the game, do this 4 times total (or 3 times in normal mode) to get this achievement. |
