Flex is the 7th Elemental warrior picked up during the course of the story line. He is freed from the 5th Shadow Troll and is located in the Snow Top Village level inside the Sulfur Cave. In order to enter the Sulfur Cave you will need at minimum Major Ruin and Chilla to traverse the terrain and Ash for his ability to melt objects. Once you enter the Sulfur Cave the cutscene for the Shadow Troll shows you the entrance to his lair(Shadow Well) and you will need to use the dragon's egg to blow up the rock over the Shadow Well to gain entrance.
Once inside the Shadow Well the fight with the Shadow Troll is similar to the other 4 Shadow Trolls you've already killed, defeat a lost soul with Kameo's kick ability, grab the light energy it drops and shoot it at the Shadow Troll. 3 Hits destroys the Shadow Troll and releases the Elemental Sprite. This Shadow Troll attacks with an Energy Column and shoots Exploding Skulls. Timing is key with these fights as many times I shot the light energy just before the Shadow Troll moved. Not overly difficult with a little practice however. Kill him and grab the Elemental Sprite and congratulations, you've unlocked Flex! |
