Note: This video is actually done on veteran. Also, this video takes place from one of the last check points in the mission, (where you, and Captain MacMillan try to survive a several minute battle at the ferris wheel.)
The strategy in this video made it stupid simple. Follow it closely, for a cakewalk to this achievement.

I struggled to do this in any of the ways suggested - instead I lay prone in the 'ticket booth' nearest to the dodgems and ferris wheel and positioned myself in the middle of the booth so I couldn't be seen by any enemies and while there you cover enough of the room to be able to be within range of any grenades which come in meaning you can throw them back out immediately.
Once the chopper arrives and you have 30 seconds left I threw a flashbang against the wheel so that it bounced off and flashed as many enemies as possible then ran up to the hill for McMillan - once you have him you have a lot of health it seems as I walked past a terrorist shooting at me constantly and I wasn't killed. All possible in the last 30 seconds.
Note - I didn't kill ANYONE with my gun while using this method. I just placed the claymores around the surrounding area before the enemies rushed through. |

All ghillied up should be a piece of cake if you follow his instructions only bit that is tricky is the convoy that walks up to you.
This is one of the hardest levels (one shot one kill) on veteran heres a vid on how to do it:
also in the mission all ghillied up near the last sections try to switch one of your weaps with an automatic makes the escape a lot easier.

One Shot, One Kill : Glitch for Veteran ! This video show you the last part of the level
I did not make this video.it helped me a lot and got the achievement after my first try!

Ok, first off, I SUCK at FPS games, so that may be why the other solutions just didn't seem to work for me. But thanks to Deadly Minx for telling me about the following video by L0stH3r0
After struggling with the end of One Shot, One Kill for what seemed like forever, I watched this video and got it on the first time trying it.
This is so easy. You just need to toss some C4 around the white picket fence, put your claymores somewhere useful, and hide by where you get the second intel in this section. The AI will almost always go towards the ferris wheel, and you can easily take care of the few who don't. The grenades that occassionaly come towards you won't hurt you (but you can move away if you feel safer doing so). Once the chopper lands, blow the C4, and sprint to Captain MacMillan. You will get shot a little, but you can easily survive.

an easy way to complete the first part of one shot one kill (after u kill the guy with the sniper and encounter your first group of enemies) is actually the most easy thing int he world. i spent literally hours trying to beat them to get to the first checkpoint which is inside the first building. i finally looked up vids on how to do it and it made me lauqh... wut u have to do is run around the tank and behind those three buses. u will immediately encounter a large group of enemies coming at u. so as ur running behind the last bus, throw a flashbanq into the enemies coming at u, and run riqht past them... DO NOT SHOOT THEM... just run riqht past. immediatley after u run past them u will encounter another qroup of enemies. do the same thinq with the flashbanq, and run into the building for the first checkpoint. the rest is easy until u go into the room with the two quys and the dog. wut i did there wuz put him down, and throw a grenade to the riqht to kill the first enemy standing there, than move Macmillan into the adjacent room to kill the second quy, and u kill the dog easily.
for the walkthrouqh of how to do the last part of the level look at the video below. even thouqh he did it on hardened, it worked for me on my first try doinq exactly wut he did. the only thinq i did different wuz when he put the one c4 in front of his camping spot i also put 2 claymores. i also put 3 claymores behind me for some extra protection. however, i didnt c a single person till i had to get Macmillan (however, just in case, wut i did wuz keep out an assault rifle the whole time looking around constantly.) i got mine from a dead enemy riqht before the helicopter takes out Macmillan's legs. when the heli came for us i turned the corner and ran into 3 quys standinq at the gate, shooting at them, not me, and i easily killed all 3. that wuz the only time i shot tht entire part of the level, and the only difference i saw between his vid was he was playing on hardened, and i played on veteran. hope this helps :)
