Focus Fire kills accumulate from delegating your squad to attack the enemy by using RB. When done correctly, a red "bullseye" symbol will appear over the enemy's head. When I did this, I kept tapping RB to ensure the red "bullseye" stayed visible over the enemy. You need your squad to kill 250 enemies designated with RB in order to unlock the achievement.
The fastest way to get this achievement involves two steps:
1) Whenever you can, designate targets during your campaign play through. This is especially effective if the squad is at high morale.
2) If you don't get the achievement on your campaign play through, don't fear! It is very easy to make up the difference. Simply load the section called "Oversight" from the chapter "Topside". In this area, Grayson will be in a helicopter providing cover for you on the ground. Play the level on yellow difficulty and keep telling Grayson to kill targets with RB. Don't shoot any enemies yourself except where it is necessary to stay alive.
Kill yourself with grenades before the helicopter lands at the end of this area (after the message pops up saying the landing zone is clear) and you can keep running through the same section until the achievement unlocks. You should accumulate between 20-25 focus fire kills each run through using this method. The achievement will come quickly assuming you used focus fire during your campaign play throughs as well. |
