I played this on Normal difficulty, and found it quite hard. The checkpoints are few and far between which can be frustrating.
After taking many, many attempts to complete this level, the best advice I can offer is to TAKE YOUR TIME! If you try to rush through, Vlad and his goons will kill you pretty quickly.
Stay in cover, pick off enemies one by one or use spin attacks where appropriate. Make sure to pick up any ammo you see too as it can be in short supply.
In the sections with the "lazer walls", which kill you instantly, be extra careful not to make any silly movements. Disable the lazers where possible, don't dive around - if you need to get under a low lazer beam, crouch, don't dive. If you have a difficult section of lazers to negotiate, take out any enemies that are nearby first or they can make you fall or trip.
In the final section, the showdown with Vlad, make sure you get the heavy machine gun from the upper floor (up the staircase on the left), while you still can, I'd suggest as soon as the fight starts. Use rampage with it to take a sizable chunk out of vlad's health. After that, make sure you stay in cover when the helicopter is shooting, and open fire on Vlad when it's not. If he fires a rocket at you, dive away from it and get into cover again quickly. You will need to make dashes to the weapons cabinets on the left and right walls quite frequently. Make sure you time them right. Wait until Vlad has just fired a rocket and is reloading. Keep an eye on your health and use Tequila time to heal you when you need it as the health packs may not last you very long.
I am particularly inept at this game, so you probably won't find it as hard as I did, but good luck anyway! |
