| Actually to Devour a heart all you have to do is walk up to the dead enemy and press the appropriate button, you do not have to go into creeping dark to eat hearts although you can if you really want to or if you want to extend your creeping darks lifespan/time/power. |

It is important to work on this throughout the entire game as you may not have enough enemies left before the end if you skip a bunch. After you kill an enemy, make sure you to go up to his corpse and hit the button.
It's an easy one, but one you should keep in mind as you are playing through. |

| Looks like you gotta do this on one playthrough as well. I just started a new game after not playing since '07 and it said I was 0% towards the cheevo. There's no way I played 3/4 of the game before without eating any hearts |
