To get this you must use all of the darkness powers a set amount of times each. Simply through the course of the game you will get each darkness power, so you don't need to worry about that. Once you have the darkness power simply use it and it will accumulate toward this achievement.
To see how much you need to use any of your powers during the game simply hit start and select achievements. Scroll down to this achievement and see what percentage each power is at. If you're on the ball it can be done in one play through.
All kills are cumulative so if you get killed before a checkpoint, or start over or whatever you will still get the points toward the achievement. Any kill with that power under any circumstance will count.
The five areas this achievement covers are:
Creeping Dark: First power you get. This will easily happen naturally.
Demon Arm: You get this in the second chapter. This can take some effort to get since it's a short range weapon.
Demon Guns: Second chapter as well. Work just like pistols powered by darkness. The left hand pistol fires a concussive shot.
Black Hole: Chapter three. Very powerful.
Darklings: Beginning of the game, this should come naturally. |
