This is one of the season achievements that can be easily obtained by simming. I used the spurs and set the difficulty to Rookie and got majority of them.

In order to get this one legitimately you need to win as many games as you can and you will most likely make the playoffs. This one should come naturally when going for the best overall record achievment.
