This one is dead easy. load up the game, go to xbox live option, custom games, and choose to create any game type that IS NOT ranked.

Once the game has loaded up you will get the chieve you do not need anyone to join the game, simply being the host is good enough.

If you have any trouble starting a game session then keep trying it will load eventually
