Thanks to NFSDrew and those who announced and confirmed it. I am sourcing my copy of the game ASAP and I suggest anyone that still needs this does the same, who knows how long this will stay online.
4 years and 9 months, that has to be some kind of record for getting an achievement fixed...

This achievement has been turned off since July 2007. We were working with EA to turn it back on but after a long time of false hope and broken promises their community managers never delivered, even with an thread open for an entire year and hundreds of signups asking for the achievement.

Edit: signup thread of shame got blown away in the xbox.com forum re-faildesign. This Facebook page got created by somebody keeping the hope alive. Don't stop, believing!

RACE WEEK IS ON! THIS ACHIEVEMENT IS NOW OBTAINABLE FOR A UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF TIME! GET IT NOW! all u need to do is complete a online race.



EDIT: i would try and get this achievement as soon as possible. EA recently shut down games from 2011 such as madden 11 so there is a chance this game may not be online too much longer.

Ive heard through gamers and ea posts, that they MIGHT turn the achievement back on, once the online servers go down ( Date unknown, but knowing EA it will happen soon)

So keep you copy of carbon just in case.
