Whenever you have money and are not currently saving for a pending record release, go to the jewelry store and spend that money on jewelry (chains, rings, etc.) You accumulate style points after fights based upon how much jewelry you have. (Clothing doesn't appear to help on this.)

You'll get this once you start buying $100k+ jewelry regularly.
