The time trial achievements are very difficult given the amount of blocks you have to delete in that time.
I suggest going for Half Million before trying the time trial achievements.
In order to get these achievements you must become familiar enough with the game that you can line blocks up for a second timeline sweep. Meaning you need to know where the blocks will fall after the timeline clears your blocks, and make sure that they make new blocks when they fall.
Although some have the most trouble with 70 blocks in 60 seconds I seemed to have the most difficulty with 200 blocks in 180 seconds, only getting 202 when I got the achievement.
300 in 300 and 600 in 600 should be no problem when you get your skills up to par to get 70 in 60 and 200 in 180.
These achievements are difficult and require alot of skill, but practice makes perfect. Don't give up. I probably played 4 hours of 3 minute time trials trying to delete 200 blocks before I finally got it.
The best advice I can give is to become familiar with the game, and going for the half million achievement before going for the time trial achievements will help with that. |
