Co-op 1-2: Wharf

These Co-op missions are pretty straightforward. For this particular achievement you will not have to complete all the secondary objectives, however if you want the:

which ties in with all four co-op missions, then you will have to complete all the secondary objectives before the main objective. There's no point in doing all four co-op missions and not going for the extra Perfect Chapter achievement at the same time as it's only a tad more effort.

These missions can be done alone, but there's two factors to bear in mind when considering extra players; the more players you have in the game the more enemies you will have to deal with so having 16 is not recommended. Also too many players will slow connection speeds down for everyone. Ideally I'd recommend a good squad of 4-6 with a designated host to hang back and co-ordinate the mission. However if you don't know the other players in the game It's probably best to set the game to 8 players and let everyone do their own thing (just make sure to warn everyone not to complete the main objective before the secondary objectives).

Setting It Up

Press cn_start from main menu then select - Multiplayer - Xbox Live - Join & Ready - Player Match (but can be done in ranked) - Create Match (if you have a few friends or a session set up select private, otherwise select public to allow random players to join in). In the pre-game lobby change Mode to Campaign, Type to Mission (Do Not Edit), Map to Wharf, and Time to 60 minutes. There's no need to restrict any kits, and the advanced settings you want to leave mostly unaltered, just make sure you set the number of players high enough to fit all your friends in. Also set the 'Game Start Timer' to 10 seconds as this will allow time for everyone to connect properly before the action begins. There's no need to alter player options at all. Press cn_Y to open the lobby, then invite your friends or just wait for random players to join. Once you have your team you can start by pressing the cn_start button or you can allow everyone to ready up with the cn_X button.

The Mission

You should have mainly Riflemen with Silenced weapons and at least two Marksman for this map. I'd recommend assigning the drone to one member of the team, that way it will be used and it won't be tugged and pulled around the map, the best way to use the drone is to open your map with the cn_back button and move the small reticle (x) with the cn_LS over the area you want to monitor, then push cn_up on the d-pad to move it.

Your squad begins in the bottom right (southeast) of the map, turn on your nightvision with the cn_X button and set the drone over the three yellow objective markers to your northwest. Your first objective is to clear out the 'Enemy Encampments' so make your way there via the pass to the west or the over the bank to your north. Depending on your team size there will be 5-8 enemies in the unmarked camp at the top of the hill and between 2-4 in each encampment.

Once they are all clear your next objective is to 'secure the enemy intel', It's highly recommended at this point to send a sniper into the fort on the right, there's a great vantage point overlooking the whole fishing village, but warn him to watch is back as an enemy can rarely wander up behind him. Now place the drone in grid D3 and make your way west to the beach.

Take cover in the trees near the beach and assault the village to the east and northeast, move the drone to grid C3 then B3 then C4 as you take out up to 16 enemies. Once your satisfied that the west side of the village is clear, move in across the beach to the west wooden ramp. At this point you will be prompted to 'Demo the supply points' in the village, this is a secondary objective and should be dealt with before collecting the Primary Intel (in the far east).

Move the drone to grid B4 and make your way carefully to the first supply point in grid A4 (westernmost). Half-way there you'll receive a tertiary objective to collect the 'Cargo manifests' this is equally important. The first Manifest is right on top of you under a lamp-lit arch near the ammo crate and guarded by 2-4 camping enemies, dispel them and simply walk up to the manifest to collect it. Clear out all remaining enemies in the vicinity, there should be up to 8 and make your way to the supply point.

Unlike GRAW 2 there is no option to simply use the action button to plant a demo on the supplies, you'll have to manually blow them up with a grenade, grenade launcher, or powerful LMG/Sniper Rifle. If you use explosives assign one man to do it and get everyone else to stand well back. Once you've destroyed both crates at the first supply point move the drone to grid C6 and clear out up to 6 enemies and watch your far right for stray enemy fire.

Now it's time for the final assault, your sniper should have take out most of the enemies in the village by now, but there can still be up to 12 lurking around, probably under the platforms. Get your sniper to re-group now. Assaulting the east side of the village is best from vantage points in grids C5 and B5, take your time and move in slowly watching all corners and flanks. There will be 2-4 enemies camping on the Intel so a grenade at this point is advised. Collect the intel and you will be told to evac in the far west on the beach. No need to eliminate every enemy so pull-out immediately, re-trace your route back through the village and collect everyone at the evac point. There's no danger around the evac and no chance of the chopper being shot down.

Mission Completed! - The achievement will pop after the short extraction scene.
