This is a hell of an achievement.
I suggest you get a friend/partner that is really experienced with Contra and has some strategic experience with the game. This achievement can be unlocked in co-op mode online with someone else, which is why I suggested finding someone who can help you and tell you exactly what you need to do in certain locations.
If your thinking about going at this alone, I'd suggest learning enemy locations, how certain enemies attack, where to stand on certain parts, and even the use of certain weapons on certain parts. The only thing I have left to say is RUSH because your time limited to all hell when it comes to this achievement.
The video (by Youtube user Murasame2003) helps with the achievement Bulletproof but, it shows where most enemies will spawn, where to be at, what to do, and what weapons are best for certain parts. Hope it helps those who are attempting to do this solo. Good luck!
