You should have this toward the end of Normal mode (I had around 135,000 points on the last level).

The main thing to keep in mind is "dodge". The less you die, the easier it'll be to make it far enough into the game to get these points.

By killing everything and staying alive, you should have no problem getting this by the end of Normal mode.
