This was a difficult achievement to get. Here are some pointers:

    1. Didi Mau put together a "Mission Cliff Notes" on xbox360achievements.org which was really helpful by breaking down each mission. He also linked the the Vesper Arcade Youtube videos which give visual clues for spacing and timing. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29...) He also ranks the characters as easiest to more difficult in completing all 10 missions. I agree with most of his list.

    2. You may need to stay on a combo for a long time to complete it. Each character is a bit different in rhythm and pace. So it would be wise to stick it out with Sentinel for awhile before switching to a noticeably faster character like X-23.

    3. The DLC does count towards this achievement, but I was able to do it without purchasing it, so it is definitely doable since I am not very good at this game, I get destroyed online quite a bit.

    4. You need 320 missions out of 360 total missions (without the DLC). That means that you have 40 missions you don't need to complete. For example Amaterasu's weapon changes were really difficult for me, so I only finished about 6 or 7 of her missions, but I was able to finish all 10 missions for 10 characters, this gave me some breathing room for more difficult characters. I found it helpful to create an excel spreadsheet that gave me a running countdown of the number of missions I had left to complete.

    5. Take breaks. There were plenty of times that I couldn't complete a combo and going back to it the next morning I did it first or second try. The longer I got into it, the more tense I found my fingers getting and the more difficult it was to complete.

    6. Lastly, try switching the side you are doing the combo on. I had a difficult time doing some of the reverse shoryuken motions, so I switched the side I was beginning on the make them more natural and was able to easily complete some that gave me a hard time before. Although with Super Skrull there are a few missions where it tells you what side you must perform the combo on.

staindgreyI haven't earned the achievement yet, but I wanted to chime in for anybody still interested in getting this achievement: The guide Seraph linked to in this solution is extremely helpful. When I started using this guide and the videos within it I had 157/320. Now I have 260. I don't use an arcade stick and I've never been great with inputs in fast-paced links and combos, but if you commit the time and energy, that guide really helps.

When I stopped playing MvC3 in late 2012, I hadn't even completed a single character's 10 missions. Now I've completed four. Feels good!

Seraph MetatronStaindgrey, I echo your sentiments. Those guides were extremely helpful for me as well. Glad they were useful to you.

Sir LagselotI'm really late to the party, but I just started getting back into this game and I have 43/47 achievements. Unfortunately, the trials are really kicking my ass. I'm more of an open-world/RPG kind of gamer, so this has really been a challenge.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to git gud with fighters? Like, is there a better method besides getting my teeth kicked in online? Just venting some frustration but would love some advice, thanks!

Don't be afraid to skip missions. There were a few characters that had a mission number 5 or 6 I was having trouble with but then all or a couple of the ones after that were easy. I provided a link that has all of the missions for every character being completed so that you can see the pace of how it's done. Often the tricky ones involve calling an assist or doing a move to your opponent while they were on the ground. You just have to work with the pace, sometimes you'll have to delay attacks or in the case of assists, hit the attack before it and the assist button at the same time while rapidly going into the next move. Also, and this really helped me, if you get stuck on a specific part of the combo, ignore trying to do it all at once and just work on THAT part. Just focus on getting it little by little and then try to do it all at once.

Hooded Claw 006I've only done Hulk's 10 and the others I've done up to the first six, but it's just pure evil!

Pukey UK@Th3freak55 - Count how many characters you have... and times it by 10 :) ... and it's definitely possible... these are so much easier than the street fighter 4 trials... especially with shuma and jill downloaded! shuma has an easy 10 trials

Just to let everyone know, Jill and Shuma-Gorath's missions DO count toward this achievement! And the rest of these words are the filler :)

Here are a few tips for the road ahead:

An arcade stick will NOT make this achievement easier to get. Some people think that as soon as you start playing with an arcade stick, you will instantly become x10 better. You won't. Like all video games, it requires practice, and muscle movement is different. So don't invest money in an arcade stick thinking it will do you wonders. You have to get used to it first, and that may take more time than you think.

Don't give up on your first attempt. Try several times. If you simply cannot clear the mission, move on to the next character. Notice I said "character" and not "mission". Try not to get ahead of yourself. You should be able to clear the first 4 missions for every character before you can attempt the later missions. The first 4 missions (for every character) are very basic. They are good tutorials on learning timing, distance, and a feel for the control.

Once you clear the first 4 columns, move on to the harder missions. Don't expect to beat them in 15 minutes. Some of these took me more than an hour. Try to break down the combo into parts. If there is a specific piece of the combo that just won't connect, just practice it. Try doing the combo while on X-Factor (if it doesn't require an X-Factor cancel). Doing so speeds up your character making your attacks connect easier. Muscle memory is also key. Sometimes you will find yourself hitting the buttons without really thinking about it. This is essentially what you want to be able to do.

Beating the arcade mode will grant you access to 4 unlockable characters. Taskmaster, Hisen-Ko, Sentinel and Akuma. Make sure to unlock these if you haven't. You can also purchase Jill Valentine, and Shuma-Gorath from XBL at 400MPS each. Not really worth it unless you plan on using these characters for another purpose.

Last, and final tip: look at videos. Sometimes it's better if you see the combo in action. Read the comment section on youtube as well. There are various helpful tips there.
