WARNING - LunarKnightX reports that having 100 friends on your XBL account will screw up Bejeweled Blitz's XP system causing resets and prevention of earning. I can confirm at having 98 friends causes no such issue but I'll be staying away from 100 until a) I hit level 50 or b) PopCap issues a patch. Play at your own risk.
The most contributing factor to gaining XP (and therefore levels) is your score. Every game counts and every game you'll get better at finding matches and going quicker. I'm averaging 150-200K per round now and it's barely adding up and I'm only level 22 with just over 23M XP.
According to GeorgieVaz's solution, you need 122,505,000 XP. Divide that by your "average" score and that's roughly how many minutes/games you'll need to play.
Outside of simply saying "Play more! Play faster! Play better!" the only real advice I have is "Play Party Live!".
Look, you're going to be playing anyway and playing locally is practically no different than playing in public Party Live mode. The games are quick to find and join and you're not waiting on other players, it's all you.
The benefit of playing online is that if you're in one of the top positions of the Party, you're gaining bonus XP. Minuscule bonus XP, but bonus XP nonetheless. You're leaving it on the table playing offline.
Every 5 seconds you can see this Bonus XP come out of your gamerpic bubble on the left. How much you get varies based on position and number of players in the game.
For example if there are 14 people in the game, it breaks down like this: 1st Place - 400 Bonus XP each 5 seconds 2nd Place - 300 Bonus XP each 5 seconds 3rd Place - 200 Bonus XP each 5 seconds 4th Place - 100 Bonus XP each 5 seconds Everyone else - 0 Bonus XP
So if you manage to stay in the lead for the entire 60 seconds you'll earn (400 / 5) * 60 = 4800 Bonus XP. Not much, but play for an hour and that's almost 300,000 Bonus XP which is like playing 2-3 extra games in that hour (or more depending on your skill ;-) )
That scale changes if there are less people. When there was only 10 players, it only paid out the top 3 people (300, 200, 100 respectively). If there were 16 people, it may pay out more.
Bottom line is just keep playing, get better, play faster, go for all the other achievements anyway - but play online to get some extra benefit for your time.
Also, don't be afraid to use the hint button (RB). There's no penalty other than waiting for it to recharge and it can save you precious seconds or the SPEED bonus for BLAZING SPEED and bonus points. |

| Getting this one is a bit of a grind. Not nearly as bad as Bejeweled 2's Endless cheevo, but still a bit time consuming.122,505,000 is the magic number to get to. I did this in classic but I'm sure the score in twist would be the same. Popped during the round for me. And yes, play in party live for the bonus xp. |
