| Replaying the first level was netting me 10,000 up to the first jack in the box and then after that you come to a rolly polly guy DON'T attack the big guy and let him spawn the little ones and charge your tongue attack and take out the little guys if or when your combo is full (after about 10) you will get 100 melee bonus each kill. They drop stars constantly for a while but then stop but you still get the melee bonus. 6 little guys per spawn so 600 every couple seconds the trick is not getting hit by the big guy rolling as well as not killing him. This should cut down the times you have to replay level one. Wouldn't be bad but the cut scenes are not skippable. |

the easiest way:
Starts Level 8 ("Nowhere and Back"). At the end of the level comes the part where you "ride" on a fish. This is now picking up as many of the big stars sheriff. After going down the red carpet, pausing the game, start new story and it starts again at the beginning of the fish-scene (not complete at the beginning level).Around 7,000 sheriff's star in about 3 minutes are possible! |

| Similar to what EliteEdawg420 posted, on the very first level, when you get to the "boss" (when the game tells you to use the charge attack to kill enemies for melee) when the "mom" spits out the six babies, you can continue to run around and kill the babies *MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CHARGE ATTACK* and gain 100 coins for each baby you kill. Even if coins are not falling, you get points. I personally reached a streak of 400 and got over 100,000 sheriff stars in one play through. Special thanks to WLC93 and RhoUrOwnDmnBoat for helping to encourage my pursuit of 200,000 sheriff stars! :) |

Ok to get the 200,000 stars ach fast, i find it strange that the guide says play upto the jack in the box and restart lvl1 because in my opinion that exactly the place u want to get to i think he missed the point of grinding, what i found way easier was upgrade the chardged attack to 3 stars and its range to 3, then when u go through after the jack in a box to the rolling worm at the end of lvl 1, do not attack the rolling worm it will spit out 6 small spiky worms, charge your attack with X and run around and take out the small worms sometimes u can get em all with one hit giving u around 1000 stars try not to hit the rolling worm, the rolling worm will just keep spitting em out with the melee attack bonus, multiplier and streak bonus's i was getting 30,000 stars in about 10 mins and no reloads or movies to withstand, much much quicker imo.
update:
sorry some confusion for some here becasue i did this after i fiished the game completely and had all upgrades just needed the stars ach.. and i thought most ppl would do the same but i guess if u try to do it on the 1st lvl on your initial playthrough u gonna have problems. U need all upgrades to get the multiplier's etc.. working correctly otherwise it will take longer.

Same method as EliteEdawg420. I tried it on the first stage as well as "Return of the rattlesnake Jack" stage.
Everything being equal (20x multiplier and fully upgraded charge attack and charged attack range), I preferred the later stage as there are more enemies and the worm is right at the start and more powerful (less prone to accidental kill) and split out more small worms at a faster pace.
The disadvantage is of cos the explosive nature of the small worms (tendency to get injured when using your charged attack). However if both your charge speed and range are fully upgraded, then it's not really an issue.
Got the achievement within 30 minutes. |
