To get this you need to accept the 1st Traitor's Keep mission from Hobson in the Treasury room in Bowerstone Castle (after completing the main game story).

You will find yourself in the Throne Room and will be attacked by the assassin. Now I tried really hard to kill him straight away and he would not go down. So my guess is that you cant do any damage to him until he has finished talking. So in the end I just held the X button down and defended against his attacks until he had finished with his speech.

The achievement unlocks once he is finally down.
