Inside the Amell Family Estate during the "Birthright" quest inside one of the rooms there is a chest that contains an item called: "Mother's Betrothed Picture" or something along those lines. At the conclusion of the "Birthright" quest speak to Bethany twice, and don't be mean, and during the second conversation she will ask you if she can have it, say yes and the achievement is yours.
I have no idea if this works for Carver or not as I have only played as a Female Rogue. |

This first option to get a gift is during the "Birthright"-quest in Kirkwall, if you have Carver instead of Bethany there`s also a gift for Carver during this quest. So any mather how, you will be able to find a gift for Carver or Bethany during this quest.
Here`s a little list, this can be valuable if going for the freindship-achievements or romance-achievements to. I don`t think it`s all of the gifts since my freind where talking about a armor-gift for Merril but i have no clue of where to get it.
ANDERS
Chantry Amulet - Found during the quest, "A Bitter Pill" in the slaver den.
AVELINE
Knight Shield(Shield of The Knight) - Varnell's Refuge during the quest "Offered and Lost".
BETHANY
During the "Birthright", read the solution above.
CARVER
Documents - In the Amell Estate Cellar during the quest Birthright.
FENRIS
Lyrium Scales - Bought in the Merchandise shop at the docks in Kirkwall.
Blade of Mercy - Found in Secret Meeting Place, during the quest "Best Served Cold".
A Slaves Life - In a sack in Elven Alienage at night only in Act 2.
ISABELA
Ship in a Bottle - Found in Smuggler's Cut during the quest "Blackpowder Promise". A quest in act 2 if i remember correctly.
Rivaini Talisman - Found it in Disused Passage, during act 3. Dont know if it`s available during other acts.
MERILL
Wooden Halla Carving - Bought at Master Ilen's Shop in Sundermount. Go to the chest to buy it from him.
Sylvanwood Ring - Got this from a theif`s remains in Sundermount, during the quest "A Murder of Crows" in Act 3.
VARRIC
Family Signet Ring - Trinkets Emporium in Lowtown during Act 2. |
