After arriving on the outer gate of Kirkwall and talking to your uncle, make two saves. Then go talk to the smuggler elf Athernril located down the steps to the left. Talk to her and say you will do anything it takes, she will give you a request to recover some money someone owes her. Follow the quest marker and retrieve the money, then return to Athernril to complete the quest and achievement unlocked.
